This year’s theme is “Building Broccoli Cities”, focusing on the curation of resilient communities that uphold the pillars of Broccoli City. Those pillars are Environmental Justice, Economic Sustainability, Education and Healthy Food. Through a series of interactive programs and skill-building activities including networking and social events; media, culture, emerging technology, and entrepreneurship will help to bolster the mission of the conference to the attendees.
If you’re coming to the festival you will need a place to stay and freshen up before the plethora of after parties. RoomShare has many options for you. When hotel reservations go unused, those rooms are sold to you at a highly discounted rate on RoomShare. If you find that you have to cancel your plans, you can sell your hotel reservation with RoomShare and get back a portion of your booking fee.
If you don’t mind sharing, RoomShare can save you even more money! Create a profile on the site, be sure to fill in your preferences and interests. This information will be used to match you with a same-sex roommate that will split the cost of the hotel room with you. You will both get your own full sized beds, and get to save that extra cash to buy some art or try some yummy vegan dishes at the festival. See ya Broccoli Weekend!
