Cancellation and Refund Policy

At RoomShare, the cancellation and refund policies are designed to protect both the guest and the host and also to ensure that each of them has a great experience with us. Listed below are the cancellation policies for both the host & guest.


If a host cancels a booking:
  • Guest receives full refund of payment along with the RoomShare service fees from RoomShare
If a guest cancels a booking:

There are 2 scenarios to which different cancellation & refund policies apply.

  1. If a guest cancels a booking 7 days or more prior to check-in:
    • Guest is charged full RoomShare service fees applicable for the booking
    • Guest is additionally charged a cancellation fee of $25
    • Host does not receive any payment and is notified of the cancellation
  2. If a guest cancels a booking within 7 days to check-in:
    • Guest is charged full RoomShare service fees applicable for the booking
    • Guest is additionally charged a cancellation fee of $50
    • Host does not receive any payment and is notified of the cancellation

Cancellation after the check-in date is not possible and the complete room charges plus the RoomShare service fees would be applicable for both host and guest.
